FREE: ... NAASCA PowerPoint Presentation Tool !!! ... NEW !!

by Terri Lanahan, Butte, Montana
NAASCA Communications and Coordinator of Volunteers, author of "Hear My Voice"

Here's a tool anyone can download and use as a help whenever making a presentation on child abuse and trauma. It's a set of some two dozen PowerPoint slides that one can show on a laptop, send in an email, or can project on a screen for a larger group.

Activist members of the NAASCA family might want to use it to explain any number of aspects of child abuse and trauma:

the different forms of child abuse like Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), emotional abuse, verbal abuse, stalking, physical abuse, financial abuse (neglect), digital abuse, sibling abuse, Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV) .. and more ..

a discussion of the statistics of child abuse and what it looks like in childhood

the many possible symptoms and consequences of child abuse and trauma in adulthood

the need for prevention before it happens, intervention for kids who are now being abused, and recovery for adult survivors

the need to give up the secrets we survivors carry and the many appropriate paths to recovery

Included is contact info for NAASCA itself and for Terri Lanahan, Butte, Montana.

Each of the slides will allow a presenter to expand on their personal understanding of child abuse and trauma, and perhaps to share a bit of his / her story.

We suggest a Q&A session after the presentation !!!

Business Cards, T-shirts, Tri-folds .. more!
  Promotion / Fundraising Tools

by Bill Murray

We've created a number of new tools that will help you promote our NAASCA name, your commitment to our mission and ideas to get people talking about the important issue we address .. child abuse and trauma prevention, intervention and recovery.

Remember, this is our MISSION:

We have a single purpose at NAASCA, to address issues related to childhood abuse and trauma including sexual assault, violent or physical abuse, emotional traumas and neglect .. and we do so from two specific perspectives:

1) educating the public, especially as related to getting society over it's taboo of discussing childhood sexual abuse, presenting facts showing child abuse to be a pandemic, worldwide problem that affects everyone

2) offering hope and healing through numerous paths, providing many services to adult survivors of child abuse and information for anyone interested in the many issues involving prevention, intervention and recovery

We also hope you'll use some of the tools below for fundraising efforts!

You'll find various products with the NAASCA logos .. business cards, t-shirts, posters, pens, banners, signs, promotional materials, and printed supplies, etc.

Ideas for Promotion and Fundraising ... ‘The Vistaprint ProShop'

YOU are a NAASCA representative! Show it, if only with a business card or a T-shirt!

NAASCA has a new program designed to assist you in identifying yourself as a NAASCA family member and volunteer, and to promote our efforts. Then, too, the materials will also help a great deal in organizing fundraising events for our non-profit organization.

We now have an area on the web site of the popular company, Vistaprint, designated to offer products with the NAASCA logos, business cards, posters, banners, signs, promotional materials, and printed supplies, etc.

As you know, NAASCA is a 501(c)3, a non-profit charity, and receives no outside funding or contributions. All our work is done by non-paid volunteers, and we're self-supporting through personal donations. All the services we offer are FREE .. to anyone. NAASCA thanks our family members for any efforts made in terms of promoting our NAASCA name and our important work.

Just join the Vistaprint company by creating a profile and signing into it. Then go to our ‘ProShop,' NAASCA's section of their web site. There you'll find numerous products you can order, and they'll be delivered directly to you.

First time - Create a ProShop login profile: https://naasca.go.customprintcenter.com/login/ - click the 'Create Account' button (at bottom right).
On your next visit - Since you've already registered, just go directly to the ProShop sign in page (above).
Purchase whatever you want !!!

NOTE: The prices listed are Vistaprint's, and NAASCA makes no money on these items. But wearing a T-shirt or passing out our business cards is a terrific way to spread our NAASCA name and, more importantly, our mission.

However you'll find many of these items are perfect for using as fundraising tools, since you'll be able to offer a lot of them for free, and other, larger items, for 100% more than they'll cost you.

Simply reimburse yourself for your own expenses and send the rest in to NAASCA's already existing DONATE page.

For example, Vistaprint charges $10 for a single T-shirt, but 10 or more shirts cost $6.75 each. You'd probably feel comfortable offering them at a fundraising event for $20, so you'd have $10 per shirt (or more at the reduced price) to send to NAASCA as a donation!

Cheaper items, like pens and magnets, can be offered for $5 or less. You'll be making a significant profit for NAASCA and spreading our name at the same time!

For that matter why not order Blue Ribbon Campaign kits in quantity from our project manager, Adrienne Clarke, and ask for a-dollar-a-ribbon donation at a fundraiser. Or simply give them away. They're cheap enough!

Order Blue Ribbon Campaign kits below. Our basic Blue Ribbon Campaign kit includes:

50 blue lapel ribbons
50 safety pins
50 information cards
1 multi-page set of topics, statistics, talking points, National resources
First class postage (Priority Mail), shipping and handling, is included !!

The National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse now offers Blue Ribbon Campaign kits in larger quantities .. available at less than our cost. We're hoping someday everyone in the nation will wear the symbol of awareness of child abuse.

We use the funds we receive to buy additional ribbons and replacement cards, so that we can restock our inventory. Our mission is to create a self-perpetuating program, one that simply pays for itself.

NOTE: We can also arrange for even larger distributions; 100, 200, 500 ribbons, etc. Write our Blue Ribbon Campaign manager, Adrienne Clarke: freedominchristnow4u@gmail.com

Please include your name, mailing address and a contact phone number.

NAASCA's new Tri-Fold - outside and inside

At these prices, you can easily give away Blue Ribbons and cards for free, but people might be willing to donate $1 a piece for them if it was suggested they do so as part of a fundraising event. Any profit can then be sent through the regular DONATE button, below.

Cash, checks and profits from the Vistaprint Proshop products of from sales of our Blue Ribbons are all acceptable .. and much appreciated!

So please .. give generously !

PLEASE NOTE: All donations are deductible from US tax returns !
