Did you know that 40 million Americans are living in the USA as survivors of child abuse? With a greater awareness and access to accurate information, articles, resources, services and programs, the public can create many more opportunities for awareness and prevention across the nation and the world.

As a member of the CSA Survivor Force effort representing Massachusetts I can provide articles and information about resources and services concerning abuse prevention and intervention for the media. My volunteer role is to increase awareness about the need for prevention of child abuse with accurate statistics and current trends for the media.

An experienced child abuse trauma survivor with 20+ years of recovery, I am now a “Thriver” of long-term child sexual abuse.

As a former Peace Corps volunteer and a teacher I have been committed to learning and providing the best possible outcomes for children. I am the mother of two teens. I'm educated about child development and very familiar with the issues facing parents and children in our fast-paced society today.

Our goal in connecting with the media is to stop the silence still occurring around the subject of child abuse. With greater access to accurate information, articles, resources, services and programs, the public can create many more opportunities for awareness and prevention, across the nation and the world.

I am living my life empowered. I have gained resilience, integrity, and acceptance of many people from all walks of life and cultures. I intend to help raise awareness of child abuse so others realize this safety and freedom in their own time and place.

Please contact me for factual information, from a survivor's perspective.
