EDITOR'S NOTE: As you know, we've a singleness of purpose at NAASCA, to address issues related to childhood abuse and trauma including sexual assault, violent or physical abuse, emotional traumas and neglect .. and we do so from two specific perspectives: 1) educating the public, and 2) offering hope and healing through numerous paths. One of our principle ways to spread the word is through our talk radio shows. They air LIVE on BlogTalkRadio 6 nights a week and are recorded as they're broadcast. Now we can promote our past shows, 10 years worth, on Podcast platforms, too!

  NAASCA's Podcasts - three platforms

All our "Stop Child Abuse now" talk radio shows are now available as 'on-demand' podcasts on three different platforms!

by Bill Murray

It's amazing, but NAASCA and our 'sister effort' LACP will soon have produced 2700 "Stop Child Abuse Now" and "Community Matters" This Week talk radio shows!

We do our shows on BlogTalkRadio six-nights-a-week, all but Saturdays evenings, and each is recorded as it's being done. It doesn't take long for the library to add up.

Now there are three ways to access these podcasts, directly through our NAASCA web site's 'ARCHIVES' by simply clicking on the episode's name (a number), by using APPLE Podcasts for iPhone style mobile devices, and through GOOGLE Podcasts for those who use Android phones.

NAASCA's 'ARCHIVES' are accessed through the web site's HOME page where it says 'current schedule'. Each year is listed there.

APPLE Podcasts

We owe special thanks to Dwight Hurych, North Carolina, for setting this up as a NAASCA volunteer!

Dwight has sent us 7 screenshots by way of graphically explaining easy installation and listening.

I'm sure you can contact Dwight if you need further help - email: dwight.hurych@gmail.com

GOOGLE Podcasts

We also owe a debt of gratitude to Charm Isom-Asenime - email at: charmisom@gmail.com - for explaining how to hear our shows on the GOOGLE Podcast platform, too.

Here's what she wrote:

I was looking at your post about the APPLE Podcast. I have GOOGLE Podcast on my phone and people can just download the app to theirs.

I wasn't to sure if you aware of it but people who do not have an Apple device/iTunes can listen to the show in the Google Podcast app.

Here's the link

So .. once the app is on your Android just search 'NAASCA' .. and all of the shows come up. I was surprised because I always used to go to the SCAN web site.

The shows are so easy to listen to now. I'll be listening while I drive to work (see pictures below). Let me know if you need anything else regarding the Google podcast stuff
.

Here are some screenshots that may help those with Android devices.

Please help us SHARE about these new platforms by spreading the word to as many survivors and advocates you can.

We hope this enhances our ability to execute our mission: educating the public about childhood abuse, and offering hope and healing to survivors.
