by the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children

What the little girl says in the video:

I'm a stupid little bitch.
I should shut up moaning when I'm left [alone] at night.
I'm fat and ugly and useless.
I cry like a baby when I'm slapped
I'm horrible to have around.
I don't deserve to have any friends.
I never do anything right.
I'm not just a stupid little bitch… I'm a nobody.

This is truly alarming – please take the time to watch. At the end of the piece you'll learn how to set your phone so you don't run this risk.

It's REALLY important info, about what your posting things on your cell phones can do TO YOU!!!

If you have children or grandchildren you NEED to watch this. I had no idea this could happen from taking pictures on the blackberry or cell phone. It's scary.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO WATCH THIS VIDEO, AND TAKE THE RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS.

Justice Denied, the Documentary
  JUSTICE DENIED, the Documentary

A Unique Documentary about Male Sexual Assault within the US Armed Forces Made It's Debut at the Albuquerque Film and Media Experience, June 2013.

Producers of the film JUSTICE DENIED, a new feature length documentary that takes a no-holds-barred look at sexual assault of men within the ranks of America's armed forces and the service members who must live with the aftermath of those attacks for the rest of their lives.

JUSTICE DENIED painstakingly explores what happens when a male active duty service member is sexually assaulted by another member and when and why it is or is not reported and the devastating effects it has on its victims.

Through interviews with victims, their families, professionals, and their allies, the film looks carefully at the Culture of the Military to examine why it's not safe to report occurrences under current rules.

The Department of Defense says that some 26,000 cases of sexual assault per year are perpetrated with less than a 20% reporting ratio. By their own numbers, the Department of Defense says a little less than half of those are women and a little more than half are men.

Patrick Stewart Gives Passionate Response to Question At Comicpalooza 2013

Domestic Violence - safe houses for women and children. PTSD and its effects on individuals and families. Classic symptoms of this condition. "Violence is never, ever a choice a man should make."

from the videographer -> This was my question to Sir Patrick Stewart at Comicpalooza 2013. I wanted to thank Patrick Stewart for his speech at Amnesty International it personally help me put a name to the abuse, sexual abuse in my case, I had experienced in the past. He responded very passionately and the last thing I thought I would get at was a heartfelt hug.

When he embraced me he told me "You never have to go through that again, you're safe now". I just kept thanking him.

  Violence against women—it's a men's issue

a TED talk

Domestic violence and sexual abuse are often called "women's issues.” But in this bold, blunt talk, Jackson Katz points out that these are intrinsically men's issues -- and shows how these violent behaviors are tied to definitions of manhood. A clarion call for us all -- women and men -- to call out unacceptable behavior and be leaders of change.

Jackson Katz asks a very important question that gets at the root of why sexual abuse, rape and domestic abuse remain a problem: What's going on with men?

You Are the One: A Journey of Recovery, Discovery and Empowerment

This powerful documentary explores sexual assault awareness and sexual empowerment on college campuses through the work of two amazing activists and the strong connections they've made during their travels throughout the United States. While in college, Kelly Addington and Becca Tieder endured a personal experience with sexual assault that forever changed their lives and sent them on an extraordinary journey to help build communities with zero tolerance for sexual violence. Filmmaker Barbara Rosenthal turns the camera on Kelly and Becca's personal story—now a public mission to help viewers see their own potential to create social change and address the epidemic of sexual violence. Through interviews with change agents and thought leaders the film shows the role everyone can play in reducing violence. “You Are the One” is rich with honest emotion but it's the warmth and humor of these two extraordinary women that make this film so engaging. Pack your bags and join them on the journey to learn how you can be the one.

My Body Belongs to Me

It's a conversation no parent really wants to have. But it's a conversation no parent can afford to skip, says Jill Starishevsky.

Every parent should talk to his or her child about the possibility of sex abuse, and how to respond if it happens, says Starishevsky, a Bronx child sex crimes prosecutor who grew up in Parsippany.

    IS SHAME GOOD?

Have You Ever Felt Ashamed? You Should Definitely See This.

Saying, “shame on you” is such a common phrase that I never would have imagined it could be so destructive. Dr. Brené Brown, a vulnerability researcher, explains why.

Boys and Men Healing Film Screening
One of Over Hundred's of Screenings Targeted Across the Nation; A National Awareness Raising Campaign

This Event is Hosted by:
SAN DIEGO – (TAALK San Diego) will host a screening of Boys and Men Healing, a new documentary about male survivors of child sexual abuse healing and speaking out.

The screening – on Tuesday, January 22, 2012 at 6:30 PM – will take place at Pilgrim UCC in Carlsbad, CA. Immediately following, there will be a panel discussion and Q & A. This event is open to media.

Boys and Men Healing is the newest film from director and producer Kathy Barbini, and co-producer Simon Weinberg of Big Voice Pictures.

The film takes the viewer on a deeply personal journey into lives of three male survivors, and includes a peer led support group of men. Boys and Men Healing is a documentary about the impact male child sexual abuse has on both the individual and society, and the importance of male survivors healing and speaking out for the well being of individuals, families, and communities.

Featuring non-offending men, this film digs deep into the effects of boyhood sexual abuse--shame, intimacy problems, sexual identity confusion, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse or rage that led to violence plagued their lives--yet each man ultimately chose the arduous task of healing. Through counseling and support groups and taking action toward the prevention of other boys, each man is a testimony of hope and the ability for survivors to thrive. The film bursts forth with beauty and celebration of men's emotions and voices—too long veiled under silence.
