NAASCA Celebrates April as National Child Abuse Awareness Month

30 Posters and 30 Essays, once a day through April

Each day in April NAASCA features another unique offering to the community (one a day, 30 in all) encouraging those willing to speak out about child abuse. Our theme: Child Abuse lives everywhere, in every community -- don't be afraid to talk about it.

We hope the posters, associated essays and links we've offered will get the conversation going!

Child Abuse lives everywhere, in every community -- don't be afraid to talk about it

.. at the end of the hall
.. it's just a click away
.. & all children are innocent
.. often its a family tradition
.. on both sides of the track
.. in groups of every belief
.. and every kid has access
.. in every school district
.. and threatens every babe
.. 1000s shed tears daily
.. in locker rooms & camps
.. most kids never tell
.. in every religion
.. behind closed doors
.. rural, urban, suburban
.. hurts to waste childhood
.. across the world wide web
.. uptown and down
.. boys can be victims, too
.. in every kind of church
.. our children trafficked
.. teach your children well
.. so do sex offenders
.. kid's Civil Rights denied
.. leaves scars inside & out
.. adults need to speak out
..spiritually challenging all
.. an American Holocaust
..but often goes unnoticed
..an un ending, uphill battle
