One of NAASCA's newest family members, Terrance Tykeem, has worn many hats as an adult .. professional athlete, singer / songwriter, author, and philanthropist. But his most recent role, that of a feature film producer, propels him forward into the ranks of those most devoted to addressing the pandemic of child abuse.

First molested at ten, Terrance grew up in foster care in Atlanta and Philadelphia as an angry troubled child.

His star-studded film "Touched" is based on the novel of the same name, and details how child sexual abuse not only affects the victim but the entire family system .. parents, siblings, friends of the family. There's also a music video and song of the same name.

Terrance pulls from his own youthful experiences of witnessing first hand the sexual advances on younger and weaker children. "Touched" features Tony Sirico, Stephen Baldwin, Mackenzie Phillips, Jaclyn Betham and many many others. The objective is to bring awareness to the International pandemic of childhood sexual abuse.

"Touched" the film is made up of 4-stories showing how countless individuals were able to over come and move forward upon being abused as children.

Terrance Tykeem is the founder of the non profit "We Stand Up Coalition" organization. The "Touched" book is a follow up to his top selling book entitled "Guilty by Reason of Arrest" which addressed the issue of mass incarceration.

Besides doing countless speaking engagements for both of these issues, he is also preparing for multi-city film premiers to build support and bring massive awareness to the child sexual abuse. Some of the already planned premiers and events are listen at the bottom of the page below.

One of them is Terrance's appearance August 14th on NAASCA's "Stop Child Abuse Now" talk radio show. I have provided a link to the "on-demand" version of the now recorded "special guest" appearance.

Terrance is seeking invitations to preview the film in additional venues across the country.
