NAASCA unveils new THEME song for its "Stop Child Abuse Now" talk show

by Bill Murray

December 14, 2011

Thanks to dedicated volunteer Carol D. Levine, her family and friends, NAASCA unveiled a new THEME song on the "Stop Child Abuse Now" talk show last evening.

It came as a complete surprise to most that Carol, who appears as a regular panelist on the talk show, had secretly engaged her musically talented family and a couple friends, to write, perform and produce "Forgotten," an original song, specifically because they wanted to make a contribution to the cause.

We'll use the theme, or short pieces of it, to introduce the show, when we need a "sting" within a show and to conclude a broadcast, and from time to time will also play the 3 minute 12 second song in its entirety.

Here are the lyrics. Click on the title to play the full length MP3:

i stroll through the pictures of what i've left behind
here once again
i'm locked up in memories
they all intertwine the memories in in my mind

i know tomorrow
'cause that dawn will come
and you will never know
just what you have done

but you have your sorrow 'cause i chose not to run
others soon followed who couldn't stand alone
my eyes no longer no longer held the shame
and i no longer feel i feel no blame

i'll know tomorrow
'cause that dawn will come
and you are forgotten
but not forgiven for what you've done

i'll know tomorrow
'cause that dawn will come
and you are forgotten
after all that you've done
i know tomorrow
i know tomorrow
that the dawn will come
